The 2008 Memorial Day Aromafamily blog

Our friend Tim Torrez (known in the Soup Council as Gumby) "offered us tobacco" to come and support him on his Vision Quest. Last year, as part of his vision he saw that he should do his future vision quests at sacred sites in Wisconsin....so this year we are leaving the home lodge, with its out house and trailer, and homey enemities, to take to the woods...
So I am packing the tent, lots of toilet paper, water, hand sanitizer, more stuff, a truck load of wood, etc etc and we are going to head out tomorrow....when Pat gets home from the road....And I get back from Friday Mass and Bible study. Wow....
So, I hard boiled 2 dozen eggs, boiling up Bob's Red Mill 13 Beans Mix in my iron dutch oven pot, and more. Looking for flashlights, buying batteries, etc. Whoops, I just realized that it is Thursday and Springside Bottling was supposed to be delivering a couple boxes of Gallons of water. Boots and socks, etc.
It looks like a wonderful evening. Although, it always rains on Memorial Day, and I know this because they have a big fest n DePere with parade, food and the weather is always miserable. We will need rain Gear.
Every one have a wonderful Memorial Day! XXXXXX
